Professor Sanjeev Khagram, Wyss Visiting Scholar, Harvard Business School Social Enterprise Program; Ratan Tata Chair at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in India; Lead Steward, I-Scale: Innovations for Scaling Impact; Co-Director of the Transnational Studies Initiative at the Weatherhead and Hauser Centers at Harvard University.
Professor Sanjeev Khagram is known worldwide for his interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral work bridging theory and practice. From 1998-2000, he was Senior Policy Advisor at the World Commission on Dams; from 2000-2003 he was Assistant to Associate Professor at the Kennedy School of Government where he co-founded several initiaitives (Transnational Studies, CSR, Collaborative Governance Initiative, and International Advocacy NGOs); from 2003-2005 he was Dean of the Desmond Tutu Peace Centre; and most recently from 2005-2008, he was Faculty Director of the Lindenberg Center for Humanitarian Action, International Development and Global Citizenship at the University of Washington. Born in and a refugee from Uganda under Idi Amin, Khagram completely all of his degrees in development studies, economics and political science from Stanford University.
