W. Carl Kester is the George Fisher Baker Jr. Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. He is currently Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, having previously served as Chairman of the Finance Unit from 2005-2006, and Senior Associate Dean and Chairman of the MBA Program from 1999 to 2005. He has been a member of the HBS faculty since 1981, and teaches corporate finance in both the School’s MBA and Executive Education programs.
